Background
The News River appears at the top of the Edsby home window for everyone, and is a great way to share school announcements, upcoming activities, and even school newsletters. News items may be submitted by any staff member, and must be approved by school administrators.

Managing news items
Once staff have submitted an News article, an Edsby user with the Office Head or Senior Admin role can review, edit and/or approve the article:
- Items are submitted to the news river, and approved, within your school area in the upper-left corner of the Home screen:
- Below each article are buttons that allow you to Edit, Approve or Reject the post:
- The "Gear" icon can be used to access advanced functions, including the ability to assign dates on which the item should be shown and when it should expire:
