Background
To provide the correct set of standards for any Edsby class, we need to tell Edsby what standards should be used. This is done by specifying a Course ID that corresponds to a course, usually designated by subject and grade level.
Association of standards with classes allows schools to track coverage of content by standard, and provided insight into student performance on a per-standard basis.
Mapping Standards
The course IDs for Common Core English and Math follow a simple formula:
- CC.Math.<gradelevel>
- CC.ELA.<gradelevel>
For example:

Course IDs are entered in Twine by navigating to Scheduling > Courses.
Click on a Subject area, and then a Course to get to the Course ID field:
