Background
Edsby can be configured by parents to notify you when various activities occur, including notification for attendance incidents, activity in student classes, and updates to groups.

Solution
- Log into Edsby on your parent account tap on your settings
- Once in Settings, tap Notifications
- Here you will have the various notification options based on what you have been given access to in Edsby. You will always have a notifications option for Messages,
We'd recommend this is turned on so that you alway get notified when a message is ent to you inside Edsby. These notifications are sent to you via the email address that is on file with the school.
- Next on the list is the Organization or School
If you would like to be notified when News items are posted to the feed across the top of the app, you can select how you would like to be notified. You may select as many of the notification options as you would like. Mobile means you will receive a notification via the Edsby app
- Next is notifications for your child or children
If you would like to be notified when there are attendance incidents and/or post to the class activity, check those boxes and select how you would like to be notified. You may select as many of the notification options as you would like. Mobile means you will receive a notification via the Edsby app. At the very bottom there is a check box for applying the same settings to all your children enrolled at the school.

If you would like to be notified when there is feed activity, the mod makes a post, someone replied or likes your posts, and/or group calendar reminders, check those boxes and select how you would like to be notified. You may select as many of the notification options as you would like. Mobile means you will receive a notification via the Edsby app.
