Background
Collections of images, videos, and documents presented throughout your website are managed through Websby. Here's how you can add, remove, and update these collections.

Updating image galleries
Instructions:
- Login to Edsby as a school administrator with Web Manager privileges. On the left side of the home screen under "Applications", click on Websby to proceed to the school's web page.
- Once in Websby, you may need to navigate to a sub-section of your site where the resources are located. Along the lower-left portion of the page you will see a section for "Sub Web Pages" reflecting the sections found on your school's website:
- Under Sub Web Pages, click on the menu containing the content you would like to update. Let us click on Culture for this example:
- For this example, we will add an image to the Performing Arts section. To do this, click on the Performing Arts folder.
- Upon clicking on the folder, you will see the list of images for that gallery:
- To add an image, click the Upload button.
- Click on the Browse your computer icon to select images you wish to add to your school website.
- The image you have uploaded will now appear on your chosen web page. Next to your uploaded image, you will see a warning about adding an alternative text.
- To add an alternative text, click Edit Item Info.
- An "edit properties" panel will pop up. Enter your alternative text in the space provided. The alternative text will be used in instances where viewers cannot see the image, such as those navigating with screen reader software.
- Click Save to apply your changes:
- Refresh your school website to see the image you have uploaded.
Removing Images
You may remove an image from the website, without removing it from Websby, using the Unpublish button:
Document libraries
Instructions:
- Login to Edsby as a school administrator with Web Manager privileges. On the left side of the home screen under "Applications", click on Websby to proceed to the school's web page.
- Once in Websby, you may need to navigate to a sub-section of your site where the resources are located. Along the lower-left portion of the page you will see a section for "Sub Web Pages" reflecting the sections found on your school's website:
- Under Sub Web Pages, click on the menu containing the content you would like to update. Let us click on Admissions for this example:
- On the left side of the page, you will see folders that contain the different documents that you have on your school's website. For this example, we will would like to add a document to Important Documents. Click on the Important Documents link.
- Upon clicking on the Important Documents, click on the Upload link to add a new document.
- Click on the Browse your computer icon to select the document you wish to upload.
- Upon doing so, you will see your uploaded document on the Websby panel. Click on the Edit Item Info button.
- Enter the document's title and description in the spaces provided.
- Click Save to apply you changes.
- Refresh your school website so that the document you just uploaded will appear.
Removing Documents
To hide a document so it doesn't appear on the website, click the Unpublish button.
