The Edsby app makes it easy to let your school administration know that your student will not be in class or school on any given day. You can self-report an absence on the day of, or days/weeks in advance with just a few taps!

Solution
Open the Edsby app on your device and log in with your parent account. If this is the first time opening the Edsby app or you need to install the Edsby app, please see one of the following help documents for assistance: Installing Edsby on your Android device or Installing Edsby on your iOS device
- Once logged into the Edsby app, you will see your student(s) and the option to submit a Planned Absence or report them as Absent Today. Planned Absence is used for future dates or to span multiple dates. Absent Today is for current day notification that your student will not be in school.
- After selecting the appropriate option, you simply fill out the form and tap "Submit to School office". It's that easy!
