Background
Around January, Twine Support defines a date range for your upcoming school year in the TwineSIS database. This allows you to add or accept new students into TwineSIS for the upcoming school year without disrupting the current year's data.
This article explains how to create a new student and staff account in the new school year.
Note: To avoid duplication of accounts, do not re-create, re-enter, or duplicate existing student accounts from the current year. Student accounts roll over during Phase 2.

Working with next year's data
- Login to TwineSIS at https://sis.choosetwine.com/ using your TwineSIS administrator username and password.
- In the Main Menu, click on the year to open the dropdown menu and choose the new school year.
- Once the new year is selected, you are working with data for that year.
- Accounts you create do not affect the current year's data
- Students and Staff accounts created in the new year are not visible when you switch back to the current year
