Your Edsby account includes several settings you may wish to configure. In this article we’ll look at:

Updating your settings
Changing your password
- Once logged in, click on your name on the upper right corner of the main dashboard. From the drop-down menu select Settings:
- In the Settings window that appears, click the Login Information link:
- In the password change form, type in your current/existing password (the one you just used to login), as well as the password you wish to use moving forward:
- New passwords must adhere to the following security requirements:
- Passwords must be at least 8 characters
- You may not have more than 3 characters repeating (eg. winterbearrr) or 3 sequential characters (eg. winterbear123)
- Commonly used passwords are also prohibited (eg. password123)
- Enter your new password a second time in the Verify Password field to ensure correctness:
- Click Save when finished:
Updating your profile picture
- Once logged in, click on your name on the upper right corner of the main dashboard. From the drop-down menu select Settings:
- In the Settings window that appears, click the Profile link:
- To change your profile picture, hover over the existing picture and click Edit
- A "Select new profile picture" panel will pop-up. Click on the Browse button to browse your files and select the image you would like to use:
- Click on Save when finished:
Changing notification settings
- Once logged in, click on your name on the upper right corner of the main dashboard. From the drop-down menu select Settings:
- In the Settings window that appears, click the Notifications link:
- On the Notifications page you will see the different notification options you can configure, including settings for messages, organization, application, and groups:
- For this example, we will set notifications for an Edsby group. To do so, click on the group you wish to set up:
- In the Notify panel, select how you wish to receive updates and which activities you want to be notified of. Note that Apply changes to all my groups may be used to assign the same notification preferences for all groups if desired:
