Background
In Edsby there are 3 places where help resources are available: Online tours, help articles & videos, and a support/help widget for asking questions. This article describes how to access each of the help resources.

Utilizing Edsby Online Help
Online Tour
When you initially login, or the very first time you access a new tool, Edsby will present you with an introductory video and a tour. Videos are specific to user roles, so an introduction for students and parents will be different than the introduction for staff. The tour highlights the different elements for the page; clicking Next will take you through each section.
- Tour of Home screen:
To access both the video and tour on demand, click the question mark button (?) in the upper-right corner of any Edsby page:
Help Files and Videos
A link to Edsby's extensive library of help files and videos is provided in the Launchpad, located along the upper left portion of the toolbar. Within the Launchpad, click the Edsby Help Files and Videos link.
Upon doing so, you will taken to the Edsby help pages, containing articles arranged by role (Student, Parent, Teacher and Administrator), including instructions for virtually every Edsby function available.
Online Help Widget
The help widget may be used by staff to submit a question to the Twine helpdesk. Responses for help tickets are sent by email.
- In the lower right corner of Edsby, click on the large blue question mark (?)
- Explain your question in the How can we help you field:
- Click Send when finished:
